Purpose-The purpose of the article to investigate the interaction among business freedom, information and communication technologies and entrepreneurship in the selected G-20 countries for the duration of 2002-2021. Design/methodology/approach-The research analyzes the the interaction among business freedom, information and communication technologies and entrepreneurship through panel causality test. Findings- The results of the panel-level causality analyses indicate a mutual interaction between business freedom and entrepreneurship, but a unilateral causal relationship from entrepreneurship to information and communication technologies. However, the findings of country-level causality analyses uncover that the interplay among business freedom, information and communication technologies, and entrepreneurship differs among the countries. Discussion-The findings of the causality indicate that business freedom is a significant determinant of entrepreneurship. On the other hand, the analysis results show that information and communication technologies do not have a significant impact on entrepreneurship, but entrepreneurship have a significant influence on information and communication Technologies.
