Abstract

research were obtained from 267 faculty members working in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of state and foundation universities in Istanbul and the interrelationships between variables were examined by correlation and regression analysis. Within the scope of the study, hierarchical regression analysis was used to determine the moderating role of organizational trust in relation to perception of organizational politics and organizational commitment, Pearson correlation analysis was applied in order to determine the significance relationship between the variables. Perception of organizatioanl politics scale, organizational trust scale, organizational commitment scale and personal data form were used as data collection tools. As a result of the research; it was observed that the perception of organizational politics and organizational trust levels of academicians were the determining variables affecting organizational commitment levels. As a result of the analyzes made in this context, it has been determined that there are significance relationships between the three variables.
