Abstract

Purpose – Examining the connection between entrepreneurial leadership and two important organizational outcomes, work performance and job satisfaction in educational institutions is the main goal of this study.
Design/methodology/approach – A quantitative research approach based on the Relational Survey Model was used to examine the relationships between the variables. Personnel employed by the Ministry of National Education at primary and secondary schools inside Ankara's borders in 2025 make up the research's target population. To better reflect the broader population, a group of 250 participants was gathered through convenience sampling. The resulting dataset was then processed and examined using the SPSS statistical package.
Results – The analysis reveals a statistically significant positive correlation between entrepreneurial leadership and both job performance ($r=.41$, $p<.01$) and job satisfaction ($r=.52$, $p<.01$). These results suggest that in educational settings, entrepreneurial leadership behaviors act as a vital catalyst, driving higher levels of employee fulfillment and overall professional effectiveness.
Discussion – The study's findings demonstrate that improving individual performance in educational institutions requires more than simply implementing entrepreneurial leadership practices. A supportive organizational climate and management approach play critical roles. Participation in decision-making processes, granting teachers autonomy, and encouraging innovative ideas can foster entrepreneurial leadership behaviors. Specific programs, leadership training, and mentoring are recommended for senior teachers. Improvements in performance appraisals, motivational rewards, and improvements in working conditions such as cleanliness and ergonomics can also be helpful. Future research should compare the effects of entrepreneurial leadership training at different educational levels.
